A POIG convida a reflexionar sobre a infancia galega.

A piques de comezar a xornada de reflexión para as eleccións galegas do domingo 12 de xullo, a Plataforma de Organizacións de Infancia de Galicia (POIG) convida a reflexionar sobre os dereitos da Infancia.

A Organización na campaña política puxo enriba da mesa 35 propostas para garantir os dereitos dos nenos, nenas e adolescentes na comunidade autónoma galega.

35 propostas a favor da Infancia

Nesta liña, as 35 propostas de política autonómica da POIG convidan a un compromiso cos nenos, nenas e adolescentes, considerando:

  • por un lado á infancia, como un dos sectores que máis sufriu a crise sanitaria, polo que require ser prioridade nas políticas autonómicas.
  • por outro, a urxencia de abordar a situación da infancia, un colectivo especialmente vulnerable e que sufriu duramente os efectos da crise sanitaria con motivo da debilidade das políticas sociais, da austeridade e o desemprego das familias máis vulnerables con fillos a cargo, que ou ben tiveron que deixar a búsqueda activa de emprego ou agarrarse a un ERTE.
  • tamén desde a POIG destacan a situación das familias e dos centros de protección da infancia, que tiveron que facer fronte a novas situacións intentando que non se debilitase a protección dos nenos e nenas máis vulnerables.


A POIG convida a incidencia política

Ademais desde a Plataforma galega consideran que débese integrar a perspectiva de equidade en todas as políticas. Este obxetivo busca que todas as nenas e nenos crezan nunha sociedade máis xusta e cohesionada que diminúa a brecha existente.

Por outro lado, a POIG incide en que as políticas de infancia deben apostar pola prevención con medidas máis eficientes que reduzan os problemas que afronta a infancia, así como o fortalecemento das políticas de protección.

Aclarar que as propostas da Plataforma de Galicia pasan por:

  • mecanismos institucionais,
  • medidas de atención temperá,
  • avanzar nos coidados,
  • reforzar a protección,
  • por políticas de igualdade, etc.
