O teletraballo é unha necesidade, para moitas familias, á hora de atender as necesidades da Infancia mentras dure a crise do Covid-19

Segundo a Plataforma estatal da Infancia, o 50% das familias monoparentais antes da crise do Covid-19 estaban en risco de pobreza.

Agora ten que enfrentarse a un novo problema: si non teño a posiblidade de teletraballar, con quén deixo aos meus fillos e fillas?

A Plataforma estatal da Infancia alerta sobre a situación destas e outras familias vulnerables. Esta alerta se activa despois do anuncio do Goberno de descartar a prestación para que os pais e nais sin acceso ao teletraballo poidan coidar dos seus fillos.

Desde a Plataforma piden que o teletraballo, sempre que sexa posible, e con flexibilidade horaria sexa obrigatorio para todas as persoas que teñan o seu cargo nenos e nenas menores de 12 anos.

E cando o teletraballo non sexa posible, a Plataforma pide otorgar algún tipo de permiso retribuido o compensación para estas familias.

Tamén a Plataforma pide que se contemple esta situación para as familias con un só proxenitor que ainda que poda teletraballar esté ao coidado de varios fillos.

O 17 de marzo, o Goberno poblicou un Decreto de medidas extraordinarias e urxentes. Unha delas foi o carácter preferente do teletraballo. Sin embardo, a Plataforma de Infancia din que non é suficiente:

“Para muchas familias que no pueden teletrabajar, reducir jornada y salario, no es una opción. 

Es urgente desarrollar medidas específicas para las familias con hijos, especialmente para las familias con un sólo progenitor y las familias en situación de vulnerabilidad con el objetivo de garantizar el bienestar de los niños y niña”.
