Desde ese momento a súa promoción convírtiuse nun recurso para a vida cotidiá. Estamos a falar de procesos que proporcionan ás persoas medios para exercer un maior control da súa salubridade e poder mellorala.

Por vez primeira, cada cidadán é tamén responsable da saúde da Sociedade.

O papel do Estado é facilitarlle os medios para que todos e cada un poidamos exercer esta responsabilidade.

Pero esta realidade exixe preparse e capacitarse como personas responsables da saúde pública.

Temos a obriga de deselvover medidas invididuais e comunitarias para a promoción do estado de benestar. O obxetivo é mantelo e incrementalo.

Desde que aparece o novo concepto de Saúde Pública a misión é cómo aumentar a capacidade de vivir; ata o momento nun primeiro paso foi enfretarse ás enfermidades transmisibles eo segundo as enfermidades crónicas.

Seguro que agora cando celebramos un novo Día Mundial se abren novas portas para a Saúde Social.

Temos un reto: educar os nenos, nenas e adolescentes da nosa Sociedade en saúde. Ademais a obriga de defender o que tamén é un dereito da Infancia e que implica a outros moitos dereitos: educación, participación infantil…

Nuestro prójimo se ha convertido en el enemigo. Ya no son nuestros hermanos. Lo que ellos tienen nos lo quitan a nosotros, y si el otro mejora sentimos envidia.

Sin embargo, toda la naturaleza nos enseña el resultado de la cooperación.

Las hormigas, los bosques, las manadas de cualquier especie nos muestran cómo la unión hace la fuerza. Nos hemos alejado tanto de ella que hemos olvidado esta lección. Y no estaría mal recordarla en estos tiempos de tribulación.

La humanidad crece si nosotros crecemos.
